Many of you have heard the name Prometheus, but many people don't know who was he. no need to worry about it. today, I will help you to find out who Prometheus was.

Prometheus means foresight and his parents name are Lepatus and Themis, and brother to Atlas, Epimetheus, and Menoetius.

Before the creation of humanity, Greek Gods won a war against great giants called Titans. most titans were defeated and sent to the eternal hell of Tarturas. But Prometheus decided to stay with the gods and persuade his brother to stay by the gods side.

As thanks, Zeus entrusted the brother with the task of creating all living things. Prometheus framed the first human out of mud.he formed the in the image of gods but Zeus ordered humans to remain mortal and asked them to worship the inhabitants of mount Olympus from below.

Once Zeus took all the fire from humans, so Prometheus stole fire from Mount Olympus from the workshop of Hephaestus and Athena. he hid the flame and safely bring it to the people. this help people to harness nature for their own benefit.

When Zeus saw it then he got angry at Prometheus and gave a punishment. Prometheus was chained for eternity and each day a vulture visit him and rip of his liver and each night his liver grows back.
he never regretted his rebellion and it created a beloved figure in greek mythology.
