Similarities between Hindu mythology and Greek mythology
Hinduism and Greek mythology are considered the oldest religions is known to mankind and there are many similarities in the stories and appearances of gods in both mythologies. today we are here to help you to find these differences.
1. The Holy Trinity
in both mythology there are the three most superior gods found in Hinduism there is Bhrama, Vishnu, and Mahesh and in greek mythology, there are Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades.
2. Zeus and Indra
Indra and Zeus both are the king gods and they both are gods of rain and thunder. Their weapons are also similar.
3. Achilles and Karna
Karna and Achilles both have impenetrable armor and both of them are demigods. They were the most skilled warriors in their epic and before the war, both of their respective mothers asked not to participate in it.
4. Hades and Yama
Hades and Yama both are Lord of hell and both of them are not bad. They simply assign the soul to he'll or heaven according to their deed.
5. Hermes and Narada
Narada and Hermes both works as the messenger of god and both are the sons of the most powerful god in the respective religion. they both are considered to miss lead the person with their words.
6. Sapt Rishis and The Seven Sisters
just like seven rishis in Hindu mythology, greek mythology have seven sisters. in both mythologies, there are considered very powerful.
